Historic O'Keefe Ranch 

O'Keefe Ranch is on Hwy 97 N, 12 km north of Vernon, BC

O'Keefe Ranch is full of local Vernon history.  One of the highlights is St. Anne's Church, which near the end of the boardwalk.

O'Keefe Ranch is open seasonally from May to September.

O'Keefe Ranch was founded in 1867, and in its earliest days was at the end of the wagon road into the Okanagan Valley and the site of the stage coach depot.  It was a small, self-contained community, with a Post Office, blacksmith shop, grist mill, and even its own church and cemetery. Many of the original buildings still exist, and are a delight to explore.Historic O’Keefe Ranch tells the story of early BC Ranching and endeavours to preserve the history and culture of the early ranching era for future generations.
